Thank you note!!
It is tough to put in words the beautiful journey of four years in "GNITS". A mixed bag of emotions both bitter and sweet feeling.A master blend of happiness, enjoyment,a greater sense of responsibility and hardwork where pleasure and academics go hand in hand.
On the day of my admission it was my very first visit to "GNITS".Starting a new chapter without all of my old friends was something that was worrying me.My emotions were all over the place.Campus area is full of serene environment, huge lawns, variety of trees and plants everywhere, pathway decorated with climbers at ends,a breath of fresh air,the sound of birds chirping around.Every nook and corner of GNITS you will find a peaceful spot of natural surroundings whose value we will understand only when we graduate from the campus.
This beautiful landscape amidst of busy densely populated Hyderabad City made me fall in love forever with "GNITS".
Coming to Lecturers, they were always more friendly and helped us all the time with academic stuff irrespective of any department. They dug down deep and made sure we graduate with best real world skills we could have. They always reminded us what it takes to reach our goals as long as we worked hard, reached out for help when we needed it,kept us all on track.A simple thank you is not enough, your thoughtfulness is a gift which we will treasure it forever. If I have erred in anything, please forgive.
The Friendships that I made here at this place are important. They were knights in the shining armor of campus life.
My Experiences in college has given me a chance to sharpen my skills in field of my choice there have been and there will continue to be many opportunities to learn and more ways of improving which I am truly thankful for. This valuable experience helped me in achieving one rewarding career.
Coming to Academics, deadline sword hanging over the head, the thrill of last minute submission, and maintenance of the attendance, then exams, and of course the anticipation of results. We have experienced it all.
The Attendance was much more important. It haunted us so much that upon entering the labs the first thing we did was to check the attendance of one another. The attendance percentage would never reach the point we aspired for.
Assignments mattered a lot.Still, it went till the last minute submission.A mark less was equal to losing 10 in the mids.
Coming to the Laboratories for Internals or Externals it was a challenging experience but we did not expect them to be a cakewalk either. Unless,we read those lengthy codes a day before. Real happiness was getting executed in the first attempt even partially was fine. Syntax errors and core dumped were annoying.
External Exams were like a horror film of 3 hours every alternate day. Completion of all chapters a day before was no less an achievement. Filling up to 32 pages meant a lot. Feeling of at least 1 mark for every page would save us.
Last but certainly not least: Results!!! The words horrible, terrible, gruesome, ghastly all define it. Think of a haunted release at midnight, it was that. Server down while checking the results was spine chilling. When all was cleared it's a huge blessing.
Every semester, we were introduced to the world of Computer Sciences. We never knew what it tasted like. It tasted like DS, SE, SPPM, CO, WT. All so challenging to score good grades.
Right from the day of Orientation to Graduation, the time we spent here has been totally memorable. Let me tell you,it is very tough to bid adieu to an institution, which made us better each passing day.
My whole journey of being in "GNITS" now seems like one long dream.I still remember being a shy new student in freshman dorms. As for any new student to join a college leaving old friends is not easy, coming here I never felt I was new. That is how this institution embraced me.
The moment I realize that life at "GNITS" has come to end this feeling is brewing inside me.One thing is for sure, when you step out of campus for last time you are far better than what you were when you have entered for the first time because it polishes you so well.
If I had a privilege to wind back the clock,I surely go back and start my "GNITS" journey again.
Thank you,
